Pityriasis Rosea
  • "Herald patch" followed days to weeks by a widespread eruption consisting of oval, scaly plaques
  • Lesions are arranged along skin lines, resulting in a chevron appearance on the anterior trunk, and a fir-tree pattern on the posterior trunk
  • Self-limiting dermatosis
    • Histology: Focal caps of parakeratosis, mild acanthosis, focal spongiosis, and a superficial perivascular infiltrate of mononuclear cells.
