Herniations
Brain stem hemorrhages (Duret Hemorrhages). These are hemorrhages which developed in the midbrain and/or pons in patients with an expanding supratentorial mass. They are caused by the downward displacement of brain tissue with stretching and rupture of small parenchymal arteries.
