Herniations
Bilateral "parahippocampal" herniation. The tentorium is in situ. This type of herniation may result in extrinsic compression of branches of the posterior cerebral artery and occipital lobe infarct. If unilateral it will result in a contralateral homonimous hemianopsia and if bilateral in cortical blindness.
