Meningioma (Hyperstosis)
Meningiomas often evoke reactive changes in the adjacent bone to produce hyperstosis. This figure shows the inner aspect of the bone adjacent to a meningioma. The tumor cells have infiltrated the bone marrow spaces and induced the deposits of new bone.
