Liver Fine Needle Aspiration - Benign Neoplasm (Cytology)
Aspirate preparations of liver cell adenoma contain numerous large three-dimensional clusters of benign hepatocytes. No flat sheets of regularly arranged bile duct epithelium are present and fragments of fibrous connective tissue are rare. The hepatocytes in large groupings appear to be centrally located in a moderate to large amount of cytoplasm.
